Worship
To worship together is seen as an opportunity for all to share in Christ’s love.
As a Church of England school, the content of our worship is organised to:
-
Fundamentally Anglican in nature covering the major Christian Festival (e.g., Christmas, Easter).
-
Draw on frequent Bible teaching.
-
Say the school prayer at the start of every day.
-
Say the Lord's prayer at the end of every day.
-
Deliver worship in a variety of ways, including music, drama, stories, discussions and reflection.
-
Blessing given by Father John of Christ Church.
As a school we wish to enhance the spiritual development and response of pupils; to foster reflection, meditation, prayer and silence; create an atmosphere in which God is both normal and natural and to foster a reverential attitude to God.
