The Church of England Primary Schools welcome children from all backgrounds, faiths and no faith. As a Church school, we have a distinctive ethos and character that reflects the teachings of Jesus Christ and Christian values. Children who attend St Mary's will be able to participate in the religious life of the school including collective worship and religious education. Christ Church has been our school Church since 1985 and has, since then, developed strong links with our school.

 

Our Parish priest is Father John Stather and he is a regular visitor, leading class Mass each week. He is very keen for our children to use the Church building and children have had art and RE lessons there. Special Mass days and our Christmas concert are also held in Church and are well attended by our parents.
